A sideboard, also known as a buffet, is a piece of furniture that has most commonly been used in the dining room and held items such as cutlery, dishes and glasses. Sideboards have traditionally been placed along a wall in the dining room, but today sideboards are also being used in living rooms, home offices, children’s rooms and more.
One stylish new sideboard we recently featured in a living room grouping at Knox and Panoply is this Playlist Sideboard from Universal Furniture. This piece is made of oak veneers and hardwood solids.
The sideboard measures 76 inches wide, 19 inches deep and 42 inches high. It features two felt-lined tray drawers, and the door panels feature an “After Midnight” accent finish. It also has platter storage and a silverware tray insert. If you’d like to see views of the interior of this handsome new piece, click here.
