"Made in America." It’s a simple phrase but one that means a lot to those who appreciate knowing their furnishings are actually made right here at home in the USA.
This week, ABC News asked “How Many Gifts Under Your Tree Are Made in America?” with a feature on La-Z-Boy furniture, a line we proudly carry at Knox and Panoply. La-Z-Boy began in 1927 when two cousins started a furniture business in Monroe, Michigan with a novel idea for a piece of furniture: a chair that reclines.
Click on the video to find out how factories in five states employ 7,500 workers who turn out 8,000 pieces of “Made in America” furniture each day. And if you'd like to see some of the latest La-Z-Boy designs, be sure and stop by the Knox and Panoply showrooms.
