Many homeowners enjoy decorating their home with original art, and for that reason, Knox Furniture and Panoply Interior Design are pleased to be hosting two professional artists who are Newnan natives, David Boyd Jr. and Carly Grey Deyton, during the Main Street Newnan Fall Art Walk on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 5-9 p.m.
This free event takes place twice each year in historic Downtown Newnan. During the Art Walk, businesses extend their hours to host storefront exhibits and demonstrations by a variety of Newnan’s finest artists, and Knox and Panoply are delighted to be hosting David and Carly, both graduates of the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Here at Knox and Panoply, visitors will have the opportunity to chat with David Boyd Jr. as he presents his “Southern Impressionist” paintings. David’s works have become widely coveted centerpieces in galleries and private collections across the Southeast. David’s imagery successfully captures the feelings of living in the rural south: rusted tractors, dirt roads, run-down buildings. His paintings embody the things that individuals who have lived in and loved the South hold dear. David continues to win multiple awards for his work, and Knox is honored to spend the evening with this fantastic artist.
Carly Grey Deyton is an award-winning dog photographer who was born and raised in Newnan. In light of Knox Company’s recent addition of Jax & Bones luxury pet bedding, Carly will be holding a doggie photo contest.
We invite you to bring your dog down to be photographed on a Jax & Bones bed for a chance to be featured in a special marketing campaign for Knox Furniture and Panoply. For $15, you can have a 4” x 6” photo printed on the spot with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Newnan-Coweta Humane Society. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the Knox Furniture Company Facebook page.
